    Niger Delta University (NDU) School Fees Schedule for 2025/2026 Academic Session

    The management of Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, has made public the school fees payable by newly admitted undergraduates for the 2025/2026 session. For some, this may look like a long list of numbers, but each figure holds meaning, from library support to sports upkeep.

    General Levies for All Faculties

    Every student, whether from Bayelsa or beyond, will meet the same set of base levies. The only point of difference is the tuition fee, which is waived for Bayelsa indigenes. The list includes:

    • Registration levy – ₦5,000
    • Library levy – ₦5,000
    • Development levy – ₦25,000
    • Student handbook levy – ₦5,000
    • General maintenance levy – ₦10,000
    • Sports levy – ₦6,000
    • Examination levy – ₦5,000
    • Equipment maintenance levy – ₦5,000
    • Medical levy – ₦12,000
    • Medical examination levy – ₦5,000
    • Certificate verification levy – ₦5,000
    • Identification card levy – ₦5,000
    • ICT levy – ₦5,000
    • Caution levy – ₦5,000
    • Tuition – ₦0 (Bayelsa) | ₦50,000 (Non-Bayelsa)
    • Assessors levy – ₦5,000

    Sub-total:

    • Bayelsa students – ₦108,000
    • Non-Bayelsa students – ₦158,000

    Faculty Bench Levies

    Different faculties attract extra bench fees, reflecting the cost of resources and practical work. The totals stand as follows:

    • Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Pharmacy & Nursing
      • Bench levy: ₦50,000
      • Total: ₦158,000 (Bayelsa) | ₦208,000 (Non-Bayelsa)
    • Law
      • Bench levy: ₦30,000
      • Total: ₦138,000 (Bayelsa) | ₦188,000 (Non-Bayelsa)
    • Engineering
      • Bench levy: ₦20,000
      • Total: ₦128,000 (Bayelsa) | ₦178,000 (Non-Bayelsa)
    • Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, Agriculture, Education & Science
      • Bench levy: ₦10,000
      • Total: ₦118,000 (Bayelsa) | ₦168,000 (Non-Bayelsa)

    Note for Biochemistry Students

    Those admitted into Biochemistry under Basic Medical Sciences will be charged according to the rates set for the Faculty of Science.

    Payment Instructions

    All payments are to be made online through the NDU fees portal. Students are encouraged to keep their receipts safe for clearance and verification.
