1. Admission Offered:
   You’ve been officially admitted. Accept or reject the offer on the CAPS portal.
2. Admission in Progress (AIP):
   Your application has been reviewed by the school and is awaiting JAMB’s final approval.
3. Recommended:
   Your application has been considered and sent to JAMB for further review.
4. Not Admitted:
   You haven’t been offered admission yet. The school might still release another list.
5. Pending:
   Your application is still being processed.

After Accepting Your Admission

Once your OAU admission offer appears, proceed to accept or reject your offer. You can do this through biometrics at an approved JAMB CBT Centre or by SMS.
Send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.

After accepting, print your official JAMB Admission Letter for record-keeping and clearance.

Checking OAU Admission on Mobile

Some phone users may not see the “Admission Status” option on CAPS because the full page isn’t displayed. To fix this, switch your browser to desktop mode.
