The Decision Room is where meaningful connections meet Africa’s innovation ecosystem.
As conversations around inclusion and access to technology continue to evolve, platforms that intentionally create space for women founders are becoming increasingly vital to the growth of the ecosystem. Within this context, the global platform Female Techpreneur will host The Decision Room on 26 March 2026, at the Federal Palace Hotel & Casino, Victoria Island, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Lagos edition builds on the momentum of The Decision Room UK, held on 19 March in celebration of International Women’s Day — extending the conversation from the UK into Nigeria’s rapidly expanding technology landscape and reinforcing a growing cross-border approach to innovation.
Founded in the UK by Bukky Babajide and now duly registered in Nigeria, Female Techpreneur is dedicated to supporting women building careers and ventures in technology. Through incubator programmes, career transition initiatives, leadership development, and cross-border collaborations, the platform connects founders, professionals, and industry leaders across continents.
The Lagos edition of The Decision Room marks a significant expansion into Nigeria’s rapidly growing tech industry — bridging local innovation with global opportunity, particularly across the UK–Africa corridor.

The Decision Room is a curated, high-impact gathering designed to prioritise depth over scale — where every conversation is intentional and every connection is relevant. It will convene a carefully selected group of 50-60 participants, including:
Women tech founders building ventures across Nigeria and beyond.
Angel investors and investment networks.
Corporate innovation leaders.
Women advancing leadership within the technology ecosystem.
With over 30 founders expected to attend, each participant is chosen for their relevance, ambition, and ability to shape the future of Nigeria’s tech landscape.

Why The Decision Room matters and its long-term impact
Nigeria’s technology ecosystem is one of the fastest-growing in Africa, yet women founders continue to receive a disproportionately small share of funding, visibility, and support.
The Decision Room Lagos is a deliberate intervention — providing direct access between founders and decision-makers, enabling meaningful engagement and fostering partnerships that extend beyond a single evening.
Beyond the event itself, Female Techpreneurs ’ broader ecosystem ensures continued impact on:
Founder incubator programmes supporting startup growth; women in tech leadership initiatives; UK–Nigeria innovation collaborations; and future events and thought leadership
This ecosystem is further strengthened by its dedicated mobile app, available on the App Store and Google Play, enabling members to stay connected, access opportunities, and engage beyond physical events.

Partnering with The Decision Room Lagos goes beyond traditional event sponsorship. It offers organisations direct access to emerging founders, helping them position themselves strategically within Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem, and the opportunity for investors to demonstrate a visible commitment to women in technology.
Organisations, foundations, and ecosystem partners are invited to be part of this growing movement. With limited spaces and sponsorship packages allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, prior engagement is strongly encouraged. For enquiries, you can contact hello@femaletechpreneur.com or visit their website for more information.
Nigeria’s next generation of technology founders is already building the future. The organisations that choose to support them now will be recognised as those who saw the opportunity early and acted with purpose. The Decision Room Lagos is where those decisions begin.
