ATBUTH School of Health Information Management (SHIM) Interview Screening for 2025/2026 Admission Exercise

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) has fixed the screening interview for candidates seeking admission into its School of Health Information Management (SHIM). Both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) hopefuls are expected to take part in this round.

    Interview Screening Date and Venue

The interview is scheduled as follows:

    • Date: Monday, 22nd September 2025
    • Venue: College of Nursing Sciences, ATBUTH, Bauchi

The notice is straightforward, no extra frills. Candidates are urged to show up on time, as lateness could cut short their chances.

What Applicants Should Keep in Mind

While the school has not listed a long checklist for the screening, common sense says every candidate should:

    • Carry along original documents for sighting.
    • Dress neatly, since first impressions still count.
    • Arrive early enough to settle nerves and avoid last-minute panic.

    A Word of Encouragement

For many, this interview is the final hurdle before stepping into the health information field under the ATBUTH umbrella. It is natural to feel anxious, but preparation, calmness, and confidence often make the difference.

The management has wished all applicants the best of luck, and rightly so. This is not just another date on the calendar, it is a chance to start shaping a career path in healthcare records and information management.
