    Biza Blingza

Manchester-based Afrobeats artist Biza Blingza is set to kick off April with the release of his bold new EP, “Dutty O’clock,” a 7-track project that captures his evolution as a confident, grounded, and spiritually connected creative voice.

Blending street-rooted energy with rich Edo heritage and contemporary Afro-fusion, “Dutty O’clock” stands as a defining moment in Biza Blingza’s journey. The project weaves together influences from both his Nigerian roots and UK upbringing, creating a sound that feels raw, authentic, and globally aware. With contributions from artists like Papichino, Diamant-B, and Cyrus Tha Virus, the EP delivers a dynamic mix of perspectives while staying true to its core identity.

Leading the project is the standout single “Ancestors,” a soulful Afro-fusion record that sets the tone with depth and intention. The track pays homage to lineage and spiritual guidance, reflecting Biza Blingza’s connection to his roots while anchoring the EP’s themes of identity, timing, and self-awareness.

Also known as Dutty Blingz, Biza Blingza traces his origins to Benin City in Edo State, Nigeria, before establishing himself in Manchester, United Kingdom. He first gained recognition as part of the group N2K, releasing a series of projects that began to build his reputation. In January 2022, he stepped out as a solo artist, introducing a fresh and distinctive sound to the UK Afrobeats scene.

Since then, he has continued to build momentum with releases such as “Edo Boys,” “Dboi,” “Area Boy,” “Dutty World,” and “Big Boys.” Each track has contributed to shaping his artistic identity, with “Ancestors” hinting at a more introspective and atmospheric direction—one that is fully realized on “Dutty O’clock.”

Drawing inspiration from global figures like 50 Cent and G-Unit, alongside collaborators such as Cyrus Tha Virus, Biza Blingza merges street authenticity with vibrant Afro-rhythms to craft a sound that is uniquely his own.

With “Dutty O’clock,” Biza Blingza not only showcases his artistic growth but also delivers a project rooted in culture, spirituality, and lived experience—positioning himself as one to watch within the evolving Afrobeats landscape. Presave on all platforms here
