- An NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is required for senior positions.
Teaching Requirements (Summary)
- Graduate Assistant: First Class degree.
- Assistant Lecturer: Master’s degree or 2:1 plus relevant certifications.
- Lecturer II: PhD or Master’s plus publications.
- Lecturer I: PhD plus 3 years experience.
- Senior Lecturer: 5 years experience plus publications.
- Reader: 8 years of teaching plus research.
- Professor: 20 publications plus 12 years experience.
