    Ogun State schools second term holiday date for 2025/2026 session

    The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced the second term holiday for the 2025/2026 academic session.

    The notice covers all public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as government technical colleges across the state. According to the press release issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi A. Arigbabu, the holiday will begin on Monday, 6 April 2026, and end on Friday, 24 April 2026.

    Ogun State second term holiday date

    Schools in Ogun State will proceed on holiday from Monday, 6 April 2026.

    The break will run until Friday, 24 April 2026. That gives schools across the state a fixed end to second term activities for the session.

    Resumption date for Ogun State schools

    Academic activities will resume on Monday, 27 April 2026.

    That is the date set for pupils and students to return for the next phase of school work; the calendar is now clear.
