Keymaster::It was a bruising Saturday for several Super Eagles players across Europe’s top leagues, with Tolu Arokodare’s Premier League home debut proving the toughest of the lot, Soccernet.ng reports.
The striker, signed from Genk on deadline day, started at Molineux but could not lift Wolverhampton Wanderers as they slumped to a 3-1 defeat to Leeds United.
It is a fifth straight loss for Wolves, who sit bottom of the table without a single point this season.

Goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell gave Oliver Glasner’s side three valuable points, but Uche’s wait for his full Palace debut goes on.

At Nottingham Forest, neither Taiwo Awoniyi nor Ola Aina made the squad for the 1-1 draw at Burnley.
Awoniyi has slipped out of favour at the City Ground, while Aina is sidelined until December following surgery on an injury picked up during the international break.

By the time the Nigerian defender came on in the 83rd minute, Harry Kane had already completed his hat-trick, including two penalties, leaving Hoffenheim chasing shadows.
It was no better in Bremen. Felix Agu and Victor Boniface both featured in Werder Bremen’s 3-0 home loss to Freiburg.

Next weekend offers no respite, with Agu, Boniface, and Bremen facing the daunting task of a trip to champions Bayern Munich.
