Johannesburg lit up the 2025 TikTok Awards carpet with creators — and their looks stole the show.
On 8 December 2025, stars lit up Johannesburg for the 2025 TikTok Awards: Sub-Saharan Africa, a celebration of creators shaping the continent’s digital culture. Since its debut in 2023, the ceremony has honoured those whose passion, creativity, and impact are driving the next wave of online storytelling.
This year’s third edition highlighted a diverse range of creators across food, entertainment, sports, education, music, and storytelling. Framed by the theme “New era, New icons,” the ceremony celebrated the innovators shaping digital culture and pushing African narratives forward.
And naturally, before the trophies came the fashion. Here are the best-dressed stars who owned the carpet:
Raja’atu Muhammed Ibrahim
